In partnership with the German Embassy in Washington D.C., I participate – and with the support of Northeastern faculty, staff, and students – in so-called “Campus Weeks”. “Campus Weeks” is an initiative that seeks to provide an opportunity for programs, events and exhibits on college campuses nationwide and related to German-US relations. The German Embassy funds this initiative through yearly, competitive, grants for faculty and their campus communities.
In 2016, we (together with my colleagues in the Jewish Studies Program, the Public History Program, and our German Language Unit on campus), are organizing a series of such events on the topic of Jewish Life in Germany Today.
Information on previous Campus Weeks at Northeastern University will follow shortly here.
