Debating Trigger Warnings


This year’s Collaborative Research Cluster that I co-lead with Gordana Rabrenovic, tackles the theme of Crisis & Pedagogy.  We kicked off our topic with an open discussion on the role, use, promise, and critique of the concept of trigger warnings and against the backdrop of the lively, nation-wide debate on trigger warnings hereherehere, and here. At the meeting, faculty from across disciplines were present, staff from some of our student services, as well as students themselves.
